Your First Vet Visit: What to Expect
The initial trip to our veterinary clinic with your pet might feel a little overwhelming, which is why we've compiled a helpful set of information and resources to assist you in getting ready.
What to Expect
During your pet's initial appointment, we'll collect details about their history, health, diet, and training. This is also the perfect opportunity for you to share any questions or concerns you may have.
Your veterinarian will conduct a comprehensive examination, checking everything from nose to tail. This includes looking for issues like heart murmurs, ear infections, and potential parasites. Additionally, our staff can offer guidance on pet-proofing your home, provide training tips, and recommend parasite protection measures.

“This clinic exceeded all my expectations and the staff is extremely kind and helpful when I asked all my questions (as a overworried dog mom). I could not recommend them more and will not take my dogs anywhere else”
Appointment Policy
Kindly aim to arrive at least 5 minutes before your pet's appointment to complete the check-in process. If you haven't already filled out all the necessary patient forms, please plan to arrive 10 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment time.
Although we strive to maintain a punctual schedule for all our patients, there may be occasional unexpected delays, either due to emergencies or because we're providing extended care to a patient in need. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and want you to know that your pet will receive the same level of dedication and courtesy should they ever require extra attention.
We recognize that unexpected circumstances can arise, preventing you from attending your scheduled appointment. We kindly request a minimum of 1-hour advance notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Any instances of no-shows, cancellations, or rescheduling within 1 hour of the appointment will necessitate prepayment for your next visit.
